Tagaytay City: A Zoo in the Paradise + Giveaway
A zoo in the paradise? Yes, you read it right. There's a place named Paradizoo located at the heart of Mendez, Tagaytay City, Philippines where you can enjoy the nature while spending leisure time with family and friends. During our weekend getaway last Saturday, I had the chance to explore this one of a kind theme park, well I should say theme farm.
Picture perfect landscape
When I enter the farm, it reminds me of my hometown - Nueva Ecija; same scenery, same landscape, same trees but different climate. By the way, I forgot to bring my jacket so I'm freezing the whole day. Haha! :) Anyway, I was amazed by how this farm was arranged. There's an animal farm, a flower garden, a livestock section and of course the picnic area.
While walking, this part of the farm grabbed my attention. I can feel the Panagbengga Festival of Baguio City when I see these joyful and beautiful ornamental plants. Perfect for OOTD! Haha.:)
Going to the zoo wouldn't be complete without interacting with animals. And yes, this is literally a full interaction because some the animals are roaming free to your delight like llama, camels, miniature horses, ostriches, greyhounds, labrador retrievers or ride on a cart drawn by an albino carabao. While others are behind their fences, you can still take photos with them.
Learn a healthy and happy living
Aside from the beautiful scenery and fun encounter with animals, Paradizoo also conducting different talks and seminars to raise awareness about healthy and happy living (see my Power of Three event post here.) During our visit, we listen to Mr. Atish to know more about the art of Bonsai. (Disclaimer: I'm not a fan of Bonsai so just check the photos below. HAHA :) )
"Plant Me Home” experience
Paradizoo also offers this Plant Me Home experience where you can be like a farmer and pick your own vegetables and flowers from garden plots to take home. Unfortunately, I didn't get any veggie or flowers because we're running out of time for our second destination. Maybe next time, I'll try this one.
Overall, I like this new adventure and I really had fun (well, not with Bonsai, HAHA. :) ) And to summarize my experience, Paradizoo is really a great place for pleasure, learning and healthy living!
If you want to visit Paradizoo, I'm giving away a bonsai, ooopppss...not a bonsai... wait...FREE ENTRANCE TICKETS GOOD FOR SIX (6)!
