Yummy Magazine and KitchenAid launch the Cooking Workshop Series
Being a 'chef' would be my next profession after marketing and advertising. This is because I started to love "cooking" when I graduated in college. I learned different cuisines and techniques in terms of food preparation when I started living in the metro. I tend to call my Nanay to ask for recipes, I would also browse the internet for tips, read magazines and I even downloaded an app for Pinoy Dishes just for the love of food.
Last April 11, 2015, I'm lucky enough to witness the Yummy Magazine, the country's number 1 food magazine, and KitchenAid Kitchen Appliances Cooking Workshop Series launch.
(In preparation for my new career! HAHA!)

This year's Cooking Workshops 2015 has three series. The first leg was held at the prestigious Enderun Colleges in McKinley Hills, Bonifacio Global City and conducted by no less than Chef Jackie Ang-Po, a multi-awarded pastry chef, cooking TV show host, and the owner of Fleur De Lys dessert cafe. Other workshops will be announced soon.
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING THE WORKSHOP
1. LEARN FROM THE EXPERT
Using various KitchenAid products, Chef Jackie will walk the participants through the process of creating delectable recipes. During the event, Chef Jackie prepared the following: grilled watermelon and mango Jicama salad with mango vinaigrette, Ossu Buco, Praline puff and Churros con coco cookie butter.
2. BE A CHEF (just for a day) AND MEET NEW FRIENDS
During the first workshop event, participants were paired up with selected top Philippine food bloggers, and each pair got the chance to create their own rendition of the Triple Chocolate Parfait at specially equipped KitchebAid Stations that were set up for the event.
3. WIN PRIZES AND HAVE FUN!
Participants also had the chance to win KitchenAid merchandise by taking photos at the event and uploading them on Instagram with the hashtag #YummyKitchenAidEasyRecipes. One lucky winner got to take home KitchenAid Hand Mixer that was raffled off.
Registration for the event is free for all Philippine residents, but is on a first come first serve basis. Only the first 35 readers to register per leg can be accommodated.
